Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using CutterForge. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and WobbleSoft B.V. ("CutterForge", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the CutterForge website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" will refer to both you individually and the organization.


2. Description of Service

CutterForge is an online platform that enables users to create 3D-printable cookie cutter designs. Our Service allows you to:

  • Convert text into cookie cutter STL files
  • Transform uploaded images into cookie cutter designs
  • Generate cookie cutter designs using AI-powered image generation
  • Customize the size and parameters of your designs
  • Download STL files for 3D printing
  • Save and manage your projects

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.


3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may not use another person's account without permission. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.


4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

CutterForge offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free accounts have limited features and usage quotas. Paid subscriptions ("Pro" plans) provide additional features and higher or unlimited usage limits as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel.

All fees are stated in Euros and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider, Mollie B.V.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • Your account will revert to a free plan after the subscription ends
  • You will retain access to your saved projects

4.4 Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our Service, we generally do not offer refunds for subscription fees already paid. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, please contact us and we will review your case.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Price changes will apply to the billing period following the notice period.


5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload, generate, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Use the Service to create content depicting violence, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Service without our express permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our written consent
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use policies.


6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and underlying technology, is owned by WobbleSoft B.V. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

"CutterForge" and our logos are trademarks of WobbleSoft B.V. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

6.2 Your Rights to Generated Content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable third-party licenses:

  • Text-based designs: You own the STL files generated from text you input
  • Image-based designs: You own the STL files generated from images you upload, provided you have the rights to use those source images
  • AI-generated designs: You receive a license to use AI-generated content for personal and commercial purposes, subject to section 8 below

6.3 License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.


7. User Content

7.1 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, submit, or generate through the Service ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize us to use your User Content
  • Your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Your User Content complies with all applicable laws and these Terms

7.2 License to Us

By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account.

7.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without prior notice. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but may do so at our discretion.


8. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology provided by OpenAI to generate images based on your text prompts. By using our AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may not always meet your expectations or be suitable for your intended purpose
  • You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring AI-generated content is appropriate before use
  • AI generation may be subject to content policies that block certain types of prompts
  • We do not guarantee the uniqueness, originality, or non-infringement of AI-generated content
  • AI-generated content is provided for personal and commercial use, but you should verify it doesn't infringe on existing intellectual property

OpenAI's usage policies apply to AI-generated content. Prompts that violate OpenAI's content policies may be rejected automatically. If you repeatedly submit prohibited content, your access to AI features may be restricted.


9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • The implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • That defects will be corrected
  • That the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • That any content downloaded is free of viruses or harmful components

3D Printing Disclaimer: The STL files generated by the Service are intended for 3D printing. We make no warranties regarding the printability, structural integrity, or food safety of printed objects. You are responsible for ensuring that your 3D printed items are suitable and safe for their intended use.


11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CUTTERFORGE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Business interruption
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) €100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CutterForge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your violation of any applicable laws

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or to us
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Requests by law enforcement

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the Service terminates, and we may delete your account and User Content. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.


14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on our website
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Sending you an email notification (for material changes)

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.


15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Enschede, the Netherlands.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

17. 3D Printing Disclaimer and User Responsibility

17.1 No Warranty on 3D Printing Results

CutterForge provides digital STL files intended for use with 3D printers. We do not manufacture, sell, or control 3D printers, printing materials (filament, resin, etc.), or the 3D printing process. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Print success is not guaranteed: We make no warranties that STL files generated through our Service will print successfully on your 3D printer. Print outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including printer hardware, firmware, slicer settings, material quality, environmental conditions, and user expertise.
  • Structural integrity: We make no warranties regarding the structural integrity, durability, or strength of any 3D printed object created using our files.
  • Compatibility: We cannot guarantee that our STL files will be compatible with all 3D printers, slicers, or printing materials.

17.2 User Responsibility for 3D Printing

You are solely responsible for:

  • Evaluating and adjusting STL files as needed for your specific printer and materials
  • Using appropriate slicer settings and print parameters
  • Maintaining your 3D printer in proper working condition
  • Supervising the 3D printing process
  • Inspecting printed objects for defects before use
  • Ensuring printed objects are suitable and safe for their intended purpose

17.3 Printer and Equipment Damage

CUTTERFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR 3D PRINTER, EQUIPMENT, OR PROPERTY ARISING FROM THE USE OF OUR STL FILES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Print head clogs or damage
  • Print bed damage or adhesion issues
  • Mechanical failures or wear
  • Firmware or software issues
  • Electrical damage
  • Any other printer malfunctions or breakdowns

You assume all risks associated with operating your 3D printer. Proper printer maintenance and operation are your responsibility.

17.4 Material and Cost Disclaimer

CutterForge is not responsible for any costs incurred during the 3D printing process, including but not limited to:

  • Wasted filament, resin, or other printing materials
  • Failed or unsuccessful prints
  • Electricity costs
  • Time spent printing or troubleshooting
  • Costs of replacement parts or repairs

17.5 Food Safety

Cookie cutters and other food-contact items created using our STL files are intended for personal use at the user's own risk. We make no warranties regarding food safety. By using our files to create food-contact items, you acknowledge that:

  • Most common 3D printing materials (such as PLA, ABS, PETG) are not certified food-safe
  • 3D printed objects may harbor bacteria in layer lines and surface imperfections
  • Printed objects may not withstand high temperatures or cleaning processes
  • You are solely responsible for selecting food-safe materials and ensuring hygienic use
  • We recommend using printed cookie cutters only to cut dough, not for baking or prolonged food contact

We strongly recommend consulting local food safety regulations and using appropriate food-safe materials and practices.

17.6 Assumption of Risk

By downloading and using STL files from CutterForge, you expressly assume all risks associated with 3D printing, including the risk of print failure, equipment damage, material waste, and any other consequences of the 3D printing process. You agree that CutterForge shall not be held responsible for any such outcomes.
